Get Outside and soak up the sunshine! During the winter, when we spend most of the time inside, we miss out on the vitamin D our bodies need. As soon as the weather is warm enough, get outside for at least 30 minutes a day to get some vitamin D!
Water is super important for every time of the year, but especially during the warmer months! The warmer it gets and the more time we spend outside, the more water we need to drink in a day!
Staying Active can be even easier during the spring and summer months! I feel a lot more motivated when its warm and sunny outside! Its also great to get outside for some exercise, now that you aren't going to freeze doing it!
Eat More Raw Foods now that there are a lot more of them in season! Fruits and vegetables have so many vitamins and nutrients in them, but most of them are lost during the cooking process. Eating them raw as much as possible insures that you will get all of the nutrients fruits and vegetables have to offer!
Waking Up With the Sun is, in my opinion, the best way to start your day! It gets you up earlier so you have more time during the day to find a hobby, exercise, or do something you've been putting off for a while!
These are just a few ways to boost your healthy lifestyle this spring! While spring is a great time to clean your house, yard, car etc.... its also a perfect time to do some spring cleaning for your body!
As I said earlier, raw fruits and vegetables are so amazingly beneficial for your body, but eating them in season is very important! If you eat out-of-season produce, it won't be as delicious and has most likely been shipped a long was. Eating in season means the produce will taste better, be healthier for you and usually has been grown closer to you!
